Group Benefits

The Naviguide Difference

Our background in education and business consulting helps us turn insurance, HR, tax optimization and legal planning into everyday language. Our education-based processes enable our clients to make knowledge-based decisions.

Once a plan is built, we then educate your staff and plan administrators to better understand how to use and administer the benefit plan.

We select a limited number of clients each year. This helps us maintain an exceptional level of service. Our clients are corporations, associations, business owners, HR leaders, self-employed people and even families who need health coverage they cannot get from their employers.

You benefit from the relationships we have built with our insurers, and HR, tax and legal advisors.

How is this better for me or my company?

We have been developing our processes since 2002. Our kit includes a background in education, business, finance, taxation, benefit-related HR and contracts, along with years of insurance expertise and business consulting. As business owners and insurance specialists, we understand how to combine your business and planning needs with a broad understanding of legal and accounting principles to form a comprehensive plan. We are very experienced at discussing issues with your accounting and payroll departments and HR team, with you or on your behalf.

Our associations and memberships that help us serve you even better

Member of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business
Naviguide is proud to be one of the few group benefit plan specialists selected to advise on, sell and service the CFIB member-only benefit program.

CFIB is the country’s small business champion. With over 110,000 members, they are Canada’s largest non-profit organization devoted to creating and supporting an environment where your business can succeed.

Across Canada, they advocate for small business with politicians and decision-makers. As a non-partisan organization, they influence public policy based on members’ views, ensuring that everyone has a chance to affect the laws and policies that affect our businesses.

CFIB provides specialized business resources, including on-call counsellors, to help navigate the daily challenges of running a business. They offer partnerships with carefully selected service providers to deliver savings you won’t find elsewhere. And, they keep us informed on key issues, so that we can focus on managing our business.

Co-Founder of NGBM, we teach insurance brokers how to become professional Group Benefit Advisors. Blake Waddell, Lindsay Gibson, and Jay Nadler co-created this education platform. Live, webinar based, interactive sessions are about learning and sharing knowledge with advisor participants from across the country. There is no cost to participate and there are no continuing education credits. The goal is that advisors help advisors to become better advisors.

Group benefit advisors looking to improve their knowledge and add to the industry are encouraged to join. On average, we host four sessions per year.

The founders of NGBM are all active members of CGIB. We highly recommend that any advisor who wishes to learn and improve his or her skills, join and become active in CGIB.
